In 2012, China Satellite Navigation Office (CSNO) and Asia Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO) signed a cooperative proposal in satellite navigation field. TARC and APSCO member states initiated the project 'APSCO GNSS Monitoring and Assessment System' in collaboration in 2016.
The project planned to build GNSS tracking stations in every member state and to form a GNSS tracking network in the end. It will help APSCO member states to have a comprehensive understanding of GNSS service performance in local area. It will also improve their data processing & analysis ability in the field of satellite navigation technology.
